Development of medicine
It is the industry that is polarity for weapon industry. Weapons are meant to kill people and deprive them of lives, though medicine is meant to heal people and save their lives. So, it was greatly developed with the flight of time just like the weapon industry was. Those must be the industries of vital importance for people. Those are industries that provide people with life and protection of that life.
The very first medicine was way different from the medicine common for nowadays. If talking about the first stage of medicine development that stage was peculiar for healers, shamans and charms against sicknesses and diseases. People believe d that to recover it would be enough to donate some god with sacrifice. In most cases shamans were just skilful trekkers and performed their healing-shows.
Soon, the first medicines appeared. Those were medicines produced of some plants that were considered healing plants. That was the beginning of development of medical industry. People realized that some components of plants and animals are provided with healing ability and so they used those components and bland of those in order to heal those who were sick.
The modern medical industry has a number of medicines and medical equipment meant to save lives of people. Those medicines are not produced of plants anymore, those are medicines produced of some chemical components, and sure there are also extracts of plants. And the medical equipment we have today is something that is peculiar only for our century and only for our life.
